Our Vision

Be Seen

Our vision is to build a community of people who will support the lives of struggling women across the African Continent through charitable contributions. A percentage of primary sales proceeds from sales will support charitable causes such as Junior Achievement Africa and others to be determined. By dedicating our art to the extraordinary range of African women’s beauty, we also diversify the NFT community and let women of color be seen.

Be Heard

This is just the beginning. We know beauty comes in many shapes and sizes. So, we are already looking to future African Beauty NFT collections celebrating the wide variety of our beautiful sisters.

Meet The Team

Meet Nwamaka, a driven CEO, wife, and mother who left her career in law to build her own successful companies serving both local and international clients. Born in Nigeria, Nwamaka has had a lifelong passion for art and has been sketching and drawing since childhood. With the help of talented artist Amalia, she has transformed her sketches into stunning hand-drawn generative art. Nwamaka is inspired by her late uncle, Ben Enwonwu, who was one of Africa’s most renowned artists.

As a crypto enthusiast and a fan of the NFT industry, Nwamaka is determined to bring a greater level of cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity to this male-dominated field. By showcasing the unique beauty of African women through her art, she hopes to increase representation and visibility for women of color.

Nwamaka, the Founder and Creative Director, invites you to join her on this exciting journey to celebrate the beauty and diversity of African women through the power of NFT art.

Artist

I live in Jember, East Java, Indonesia, where I discovered my hobby of drawing at 4 years old. I would scribble on the wall with my crayons, my mom's lipstick, and my parents let that happen. When the wall was full of my scribbles, they would repaint it to be used as a canvas for me to draw again. Today I am an illustrator for children's books, advertising, murals and NFTs.

Amaka helped me better understand African culture and styles with her renderings for African Beauty. I liked the beautiful concept and draw it in my art style, with specific details on the base character. I think African people are beautiful.

I am always seeking new challenges and strive for excellence in my work.
